- MCQs are asked in Railway Group D.
- these Questions are asked from 4 subjects as we discuss in our table.
- There is also a 1/3 negative marking in the Railway Group D exam.
- The question paper of the exam is in a total of 13 languages.
- 1:30 minutes is given to solve the entire question paper.
- Students with disabilities are given 120 minutes.
Railway Group D Physical Efficiency Tests
Friends, the students who pass the RRB Group-D exam, only those students are called for Physical Efficiency Tests.
Note:- Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, the candidates will be called for PET three times the total vacancy of the notified posts against the RRB/RRC, however, the availability of sufficient/reasonable number of candidates for all the notified posts by the Railways reserves the right to increase/decrease this ratio as deemed fit. Passing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and will be of qualifying nature.

for male candidate | Must be able to lift and carry a weight of 35 kgs for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one go without falling down, and must be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one go. |
for female candidate | Must be able to lift and carry a weight of 20 kgs for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without the weight falling down; Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds in one go. |
For PWD candidates | PDWD candidates need not appear for PET but still they have to clear the medical test. |
