Good morning, respected Principal, respected teachers, and my dear colleagues, my warm greetings to all of you.

My name is —— and I am a student of class 11th in this school. Today I am going to present a short speech in front of all of you on this auspicious occasion, whose topic is: - Knowledge is power.

This is a very important topic. First of all, I would like to thank all of you that you all have given me an opportunity to express my views on this platform.

Today I want to say two words on the topic "Knowledge is power". I hope you like this lecture.

There are always many things needed for any human being to live their lives and run it smoothly.

The knowledge of which is very important. Knowledge is an important part of human life. At present, the life of any human being is not possible without it.

The word knowledge is derived from the Sanskrit root "jna", which means: experience. One has to know and understand anything.

If explained in simple words, knowledge means having complete and correct information about anything and having correct and accurate information about all kinds of facts related to it.

The light of knowledge dispels the darkness of ignorance. After getting knowledge, the life of a man changes completely.

Even if an ignorant person has everything, he will destroy it completely because of his ignorance. Whereas, even if a wise man has nothing, he will have everything.

A wise man will get out of every difficult situation with the help of his knowledge even in adverse circumstances.

A man wanders in ignorance at the beginning of his life. After this, he chooses a Guru and with the knowledge given by the Guru, he comes out of ignorance and becomes knowledgeable.

It is said that if you have wealth and weapons. But if you do not have proper knowledge, then you will not be called a powerful person.

If you don't have all these things and only have the knowledge, still you will become the most powerful person in the whole world.

Knowledge gives us the freedom to think. Through knowledge, we can know our rights and if we do not get these rights, we can also fight for them.

You will have complete knowledge about everything. So that no one will be able to exploit you. A wise person can bring light not only in his own life but also in the lives of many others besides himself.

A knowledgeable person can understand the evils and evils spread in the society and try continuously to rectify them and can also make people aware about it.

Through knowledge, you can see your every difficulty in a new way. Knowledge gives you a different perspective to look at every situation.

After which you find new ways to get out of those difficult situations, which becomes an example for other people.
