SSC JHT Exam Pattern 

Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC JHT exam in two phases: Phase I exam will be conducted online in which you will be asked Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions, while Phase II will be your Descriptive which is a pen and paper based exam, which will be conducted offline. is organized

SSC JHT Exam Pattern Paper-1


The first stage exam of SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) is a Computer Based Examination (CBE) which will be conducted online.


The question paper of SSC JHT Paper-1 is divided into 2 parts in which in total you will be asked 200 questions. The questions will be asked from Hindi and English subjects. After all, the purpose of the exam is to test the candidates' command over English and Hindi, especially the Hindi language. 100-100 questions will be asked from each subject.


In each question you will be given four options out of which only one option will be correct (Multiple Choice based Questions).


You will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer in the exam. And for every wrong answer given by you, 0.25 marks will be deducted. If you do not attempt the questions in the exam, otherwise you will not be given any marks for those questions and will not be deducted.


You will be given a maximum of 2 hours to complete Paper-1 of SSC JHT. The candidates belonging to the same PWD category (blind students and students suffering from Cerebral Palsy) will be given additional time of 40 minutes. The time allotted for PWD category is 2 hours 40 minutes.


SSC JHT Exam Pattern Paper-2

In SSC JHT Paper-2 also questions will be from Hindi and English subject but it will be a written exam and you will have to give it in writing as you have been giving exam in your college and school.


The exam will be of total 200 marks, to complete which you will be given a maximum time of 2 hours and PWD students will be given 2 hours 40 minutes.


In the second stage paper of SSC JHT, you will be asked to translate and write an essay.


The level of questions asked in SSC JHT Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be of Graduation Level.
