  Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued an online application form for Jharkhand Matric Level Combined Competitive Examination 2023.

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has issued notification for the recruitment of 268 posts of Entomologist and equivalent, Industries Department and 187 posts of Skilled Craftsman and equivalent posts, Industries Department in the month of August.

The OMR-based examination will be conducted for the candidates of applications received for the Jharkhand Matriculation Level Combined Competitive Examination 2023. 

Multiple-choice type questions will be included. It is necessary for the candidate to study the syllabus subject of matriculation level combined competitive examination and all the subjects of the examination pattern closely. JSSC Matric Level Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2023

The examination will be conducted in one examination i.e. Main Examination. In whose question paper Multiple Choice Objective Type questions will be asked.

The medium of all other questions in the examination will be Hindi and English, except for any special language.

 Each question will be of 3 marks and one mark will be deducted for the wrong answer by the candidate on the basis of a negative marking.

JSSC matric level syllabus

• Paper-1:- (Language Knowledge), (Total 120 Questions Exam Time 2 Hours)

In order to pass, it is mandatory for the candidate to bring 30% marks by adding the marks obtained in Hindi and English language knowledge.

• Paper-III:- General Knowledge (Total 120 Questions Exam Time 2 Hours)

Language Knowledge Test Syllabus –

Hindi Language – In this, questions based on Hindi paragraphs and grammar will be included in the exam.

English Language – In this, questions based on Hindi paragraphs and grammar will be included in the exam.

In this, candidates will be able to appear in Urdu/ Santhali/ Kangla/ Mundari (Munda)/ Khadiya/ Ho/ Kudukh (Uraon)/ Kurmali/ Khortha/ Nagpuri/ Panchparayaniya/ Oriya on the basis of their respective language test option.

General Knowledge Exam Syllabus

General Studies – Questions related to the History of India, Geography, Major Inventions, Indian Polity, Economy, Culture, Freedom Movement, Languages of India, Major Features of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Panchayati Raj, Five Year Plans, Sports, and Major events happening nearby, etc.

Mathematics – In this 10th star questions will be asked like Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Simple Trigonometry, Geometry, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Average, Working Time, Partnership, Time and Distance etc.

General Science – In the course of General Science, questions related to general understanding and understanding of science based on day-to-day observation and experience will be asked.

Knowledge related to the state of Jharkhand – In this, Jharkhand state's geography, history, civilization, culture, language, literature, mines, minerals, industry, contribution of Jharkhand in the national movement, development plans, sports players, etc.
