#1 In the first phase of the SSC Selection Post XI Exam 2023, first of all, the eligible candidates who applied online will be conducting multiple choice objective-based written tests. There will be three separate objective-type computer-based examinations. In the written examination of SSC Selection Post XI, you are asked 100 questions of 50-50 marks each from four subjects General Knowledge, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language for a total of 200 marks. For which you are given only 1 hour time i.e. 60 minutes time in which you have to complete this exam. 10th, 12th, and Graduation level questions come in this exam.   • The written examination of SSC Selection Post XI is a CBT (Computer Based Test) based examination. Candidates are given one hour (60 minutes) for the written test of the selected post. The entire question paper is divided into 4 parts. These four sections are based on the subjects given in the above table.

  • There are a total of 100 questions in all four sections, the total number of questions is 100 and two marks are fixed for each question, and the total score is 200 marks.

  • There is no provision for negative marking in this exam. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for a wrong answer in the Selection Post X exam.

  • The question paper is in both Hindi and English language and all the questions are objective type (MCQ). The level of questions is for 10th class, 12th standard, and undergraduate subjects. General Awareness questions are based on current events.

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the written examination of SSC Selection Post XI to pass in all the sections and after being successful in all the sections, it is mandatory to obtain marks up to the cutoff made on the basis of written examination marks.

  • Tentative Answer Keys will be put on the website of the Commission after the examination.

01 General Intelligence:- It will consist of non-verbal type questions. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discriminative observation, relationship concepts, shape classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate's abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical calculations, and other analytical functions.


02 General Awareness:- The questions are designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to society. Questions shall also be designed to test such knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of an educated person in their scientific aspects. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, especially relating to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity including the Indian constitution, scientific research, etc.


03 Quantitative Aptitude:- This paper will include questions on problems related to the Number System, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. English Language: Candidates to understand the basics of the English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, correct usage etc. Their writing ability will be tested.
